Week of 1/7 - 1/10/11

Hello, Parents! Boy, can you believe how last week turned out? I was definitely surprised when that second round of snow hit! I hope you all stayed safe and warm and that the cabin fever wasn't too bad.

My plan for this week is to do all that I had planned for last week. Alas, this means that we won't have our Chinese New Year Week this year, which is one of my favorite themes. But that's just the way it goes sometimes!

As far as I know right now, the following events are still in place:

Tuesday, Feb. 8 - Class Pictures
Thursday, Feb. 10 - PTC After School
Friday, - Feb. 11 - PTC - No School
Saturday, Feb. 12 - SPX Auction
Monday, Feb. 14 - Valentine's Day Party, 1:00 pm in the classroom. Please send valentines for your child to share with the class. We have 10 students and it's easier for them to pass out the valentines if they only sign their names without individually addressing them. Parents are welcome to attend the party.
Friday, Feb. 18 - No School - Teacher Inservice Day
Monday, Feb. 21 - No School - President's Day

If anything changes, I will let you know as soon as I know! See you tomorrow. Maybe.
