Wow!  That's a lot of preschoolers!

Hello, All!  As you can see, I had a bit of catching up to do with blog pictures.  During our Pets Week we learned about St. Francis and had our own blessing of the animals in the classroom.  For Transportation Week  we learned about air travel and pretended to take a plane trip.  We waited in line, went through security, got boarding passes, had to find our seats on the plane, and enjoyed a snack and movie!  Finally, we had a big Charlie Brown style Thanksgiving feast with the other preschool classes. Now it's on to Advent and Christmas...

Halloween Crafting with 6th Grade Buddies!

We got to meet and spend time with our 6th grade buddies.  Everyone loved it!  The big kids helped the preschoolers with a craft project then everyone got to play in centers together.  We plan on getting together with our buddies on a monthly basis.

Pumpkin Exploration

Don't you just love their expressions?!  We had a great time learning about pumpkins last week.  At the end of the week we cut open our class pumpkin, worked together to clean it out, then I carved a jack-o-lantern face on Friday.  As you can tell, some of us enjoyed the gooey stuff more than others!

Hope everyone had an awesome time at Fun Day this year!  So sorry I missed it.  I have been fighting a bug and had pretty much lost my voice by the end of the week.  So I stayed home to get well.  You know, you've got to have your voice in a class full of three-year-olds!  (And one four-year-old.  Happy Birthday, Cooper!)

We Love Our Grandparents!

Thank you one and all for a very successful inaugural Grandparent's Day at SPX!  We had a wonderful turnout and a delicious breakfast provided by Home and School.  The kids really loved showing their grandparents around our classroom and playground.

Incredible Sleeping Children

In case you have been wondering, "Does my child really sleep at nap time?"  Well, now you know!   Almost all of them sleep every day!  Aren't they sweet?  We are just so busy every morning that by the time 12:00 rolls around they are really tuckered out!
