Pumpkin Exploration

Don't you just love their expressions?!  We had a great time learning about pumpkins last week.  At the end of the week we cut open our class pumpkin, worked together to clean it out, then I carved a jack-o-lantern face on Friday.  As you can tell, some of us enjoyed the gooey stuff more than others!

Hope everyone had an awesome time at Fun Day this year!  So sorry I missed it.  I have been fighting a bug and had pretty much lost my voice by the end of the week.  So I stayed home to get well.  You know, you've got to have your voice in a class full of three-year-olds!  (And one four-year-old.  Happy Birthday, Cooper!)

We Love Our Grandparents!

Thank you one and all for a very successful inaugural Grandparent's Day at SPX!  We had a wonderful turnout and a delicious breakfast provided by Home and School.  The kids really loved showing their grandparents around our classroom and playground.

Incredible Sleeping Children

In case you have been wondering, "Does my child really sleep at nap time?"  Well, now you know!   Almost all of them sleep every day!  Aren't they sweet?  We are just so busy every morning that by the time 12:00 rolls around they are really tuckered out!

Busy Days in Preschool!

Welcome Back to a New School Year!  We are off and running in Preschool.  In this blog I will try to post photos of all the fun that we are having.  As you can see, last week we got to make our own snack, a "food face."  This fit right in with our theme, All About Me.
